Gayle Gorrill

In 2021, Gayle stepped down as Vice-President Finance and Operations at the University of Victoria (UVic) after 15 years. She was responsible for the budget office, computing services, campus security, emergency planning, facilities management, financial services, and human resources. Prior to UVic, she was with the University of Calgary as Associate Vice-President administration for three years and in various executive positions for the Calgary Health Region. She began her career at Ernst and Young.
Gayle has a bachelor of business administration and received her chartered accountant (CPA CA) designation in 1985, becoming a Fellow of the CPA-CA in 2016. Gayle has extensive board experience and holds an ICD.D from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
Gayle is Chair of the Audit Committee. She was first appointed as a Director on June 18, 2018. Her current term is scheduled to end on June 18, 2025.
