Ian Wanke joined BCI in 2015. He co-leads the business services investment sector, covering companies that operate within human-capital management, information services, professional services, and other business to business (B2B) operations, including franchised services. With $250.4 billion in gross assets under management as of March 31, 2024, BCI is one of the largest institutional investors in Canada.

Prior to joining BCI, Ian was a Vice President within Deloitte’s middle market investment banking team in Vancouver. Prior to Deloitte, Ian worked at the Vancouver based private equity firm, Krystal Financial Corporation, predecessor to Krystal Growth Partners.

Ian obtained a bachelor of commerce in finance and accounting, minoring in economics, from the Sauder School of Business, and he is also a CFA®, CBV, and CPA, CA charterholder.

Ian currently observes on the boards of Hayfin Capital Management, BMS Group, PS Logistics, Authority Brands, and Honour Lane Shipping.
