Don't Take Our Word For It:

  • Mahad Farrukh
Master of Science Degree in Finance from Simon Fraser University

My internship experience with the ESG Integration team was a great way for me to experience working at a large investment management organization. In this role, I got the opportunity to develop the first carbon footprint for public equity holdings. Throughout my internship, I looked for opportunities to collaborate with other teams and lend a hand wherever possible. In this process, I took on some projects with Global Thematic, my current team. Throughout this experience, I found myself surrounded by colleagues who were always willing to contribute to my professional development.”

  • Liam Underwood
Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from Queen's University

I had an amazing experience with the co-op/intern program where I spent time with two great teams in Macro Investment Research and Derivative Operations. Both teams gave me exposure to very different but extremely interesting aspects of capital markets and investment management. The co-op/intern program as a whole provided a great bridge from school and my prior career, to becoming a full-time analyst with BCI.”

  • Ray Clarke-Coates
Communications Diploma from British Columbia Institute of Technology

Before I started my co-op term, I was still unsure what career path to go down. My co-op supervisor gave me the flexibility to explore a variety of roles within our team. It ended up being an invaluable opportunity to discover what I enjoyed doing and what skills I wanted to grow."
