Students & Interns
Invest In Your Career
We provide students and interns with the opportunity to contribute and make a real impact on day-to-day initiatives, network, and learn from world-class investment and business professionals, and get an up-close look at how one of the largest institutional investors in Canada operates.
Why Do A Work Term At BCI?

You are assigned meaningful work, supported by some of the most talented professionals in the investment industry. The work we do ensures over half a million British Columbians – people you probably know: teachers, firefighters, and city workers – have a financially secure future.

There is an array of training and networking opportunities available for our students, such as Q&A sessions with the CEO, knowledge sharing sessions, investment club, reading club, and public speaking club.

Victoria is situated on Vancouver Island, surrounded by ocean and mountains, while boasting the most moderate climate in Canada. Our newly built office is located downtown, surrounded by local eateries and amenities.
Note: For those coming from elsewhere, we offer a travel allowance to help with the move.

BCI continues to grow as we transform into an active in-house asset manager. We are hiring in all areas of our corporation and we often hire students from our co-op & internship program.
