
Sameer Jinnah
Managing Director
Location: VictoriaSameer Jinnah joined BCI in 2007 and is a Managing Director in the infrastructure & renewable resources team in Victoria, B.C. He is responsible for sourcing, executing and managing private investments in infrastructure with a focus on forestry, agriculture and infrastructure debt. With $250.4 billion of gross managed assets as of March 31, 2024, BCI is one of Canada’s largest institutional investors within the global capital markets.
Sameer has over 15 years’ experience in finance and investments, including experience within infrastructure, renewable resources, private equity and private debt.
Sameer holds an MBA from the Segal Graduate School of Business, a bachelor of business administration from Wilfrid Laurier University, is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder, has completed the ICD Directors Education Program and completed executive training at INSEAD Business School.
Sameer presently serves on the boards of Caddo Sustainable Timberlands in the United States, Vista Hermosa in Chile, and represents BCI on a number of limited partnership advisory committees (LPACs). Sameer has held past directorships at Mosaic Forest Corporation in Canada and Lumin in Uruguay.
