
Sameer Jinnah

Location: VictoriaSameer Jinnah joined BCI in 2007. Sameer is a member of the senior team in the Infrastructure & Renewable Resource Investments Group. BCI is one of Canada’s largest institutional investors with $295 billion in assets under management as of March 31, 2025, $32.2 billion of which is managed by the I&RR team.
Sameer has over 15 years’ experience in finance and investments, including experience within infrastructure, renewable resources, private equity and private credit. Sameer has an MBA from the Segal Graduate School of Business, a BBA from Wilfrid Laurier University, is a CFA and ICD.D charter holder, and is pursuing the INSEAD Certificate in Global Management.
Sameer is responsible for overseeing I&RR’s Forestry, Agriculture and Infrastructure Credit investment portfolios. Sameer presently serves as a director on the boards of Caddo Sustainable Timberlands and Vista Hermosa and is an alternate director on the boards of Viterra and Costa Group. In addition, Sameer represents BCI on a number of Limited Partnership Advisory Committees. Sameer has held past directorships at Mosaic Forest Corporation and Lumin Uruguay.
