
Steve Turner

Location: VictoriaSteve Turner joined BCI in 2008 and is a Managing Director responsible for sourcing, executing and managing infrastructure investments. With $250.4 billion of gross managed assets as of March 31, 2024, BCI is one of Canada’s largest institutional investors within the global capital markets.
Steve has over 15 years experience in private markets investing. Prior to joining BCI, he was an Associate with Ventures West Management, a leading Canadian venture capital firm.
Steve has a bachelor of science in environmental engineering from Montana Tech of the University of Montana and an MBA from the University of Victoria. Steve is also a registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in the Province of British Columbia, a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder, and holds the ICD.D designation.
Steve serves on the board of Nexus Water Group, the fifth-largest water utility in the U.S. He also serves on the board of Cleco, a Louisiana-based regulated electric utility.
