Jennifer Hartfield

Senior Vice President, Enterprise Transformation

Location: Victoria

Jennifer joined BCI in January 2017. She oversees corporate-wide business planning and leads a transformation program to strengthen BCI’s long-term competitive position, modernize workflows, and embed new technologies across the organization. With $295 billion of managed assets as of March 31, 2025, BCI is one of Canada’s largest institutional investors within the global capital markets.

Prior to joining BCI, Jennifer spent six years as a technology strategy, program, and project management Consultant for both public and private sector companies. Her consulting work was informed by twelve years of experience in information technology, specializing in human resources and financial systems.

Jennifer holds a bachelor of science from the University of British Columbia, a certificate in project leadership from Cornell University, a Project Management Professional (PMP)® designation, and a CFA Institute Investment Foundations® certificate. She has also completed the general management program at Harvard Business School. Jennifer has served on the Board of Directors for VIATEC and Island Women in Science and Technology.
