Shauna Lukaitis
Chief Operating Officer
Shauna Lukaitis is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at BCI. Over the duration of Shauna’s career at BCI, she has held the positions of Equity Trader, Project Manager, and Senior Vice President, Investment Operations. With $250.4 billion of gross managed assets as of March 31, 2024, BCI is one of Canada’s largest institutional investors within the global capital markets.
As COO, Shauna is responsible for the overall management and strategic direction for BCI’s operations group, which includes corporate data & operations, corporate risk & audit, finance, investment operations, legal affairs, and technology. She oversees the interconnectivity, relationships, and operating model required to enable BCI’s global operations.
The office of the COO builds strong relationships with clients and the financial community, delivers efficiencies in BCI’s systems and processes, ensures the corporation meets its Three-Year Business Plan objectives, and adheres to best practices in business operations planning.
Shauna is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School and holds a diploma in business administration from Camosun College, Victoria, British Columbia. She has completed the Canadian Securities Course and the Chief Compliance Officer Qualifying Examination through the Canadian Securities Institute.
