Anne-Marie Gagnon joined BCI in 2013 and oversees the implementation of BCI’s ESG strategy in credit, including investments in sustainable bonds, and oversees the stewardship program with public companies. This includes BCI’s involvement with investor-led initiatives such as Climate Action 100+. With $250.4 billion of gross managed assets as of March 31, 2024, BCI is one of Canada’s largest institutional investors within the global capital markets.

Prior to BCI, Anne-Marie served as Regional Manager for Africa and the Middle East at Export Development Canada, a federal crown corporation and Canada’s export credit agency. In this role, she was responsible for business development in support of Canadian exporters and investors in emerging markets.

Anne-Marie earned an undergraduate degree in business administration with a major in finance from the Université de Sherbrooke and a graduate degree in public and international affairs from the University of Ottawa. She holds a Global Competent Board designation and serves on the board of the Canadian Bond Investors’ Association.
