Ari Wachtenheim joined BCI in 2023 and focuses on the TMT sector. With $295 billion in gross assets under management as of March 31, 2025, BCI is one of the largest institutional investors in Canada.

Prior to joining BCI, Ari was a Private Equity Associate at Searchlight Capital Partners, where he focused on investing across several different industries, working on a variety of situations and capital structures, including private equity and debt. Ari started his career at RBC Capital Markets, where he focused on communications, media and entertainment M&A and financing transactions.

Ari holds a bachelor of science in accounting from Yeshiva University.
