Joining BCI in 2015, Ian is the Co-Head of the Business Services and Consumer sector team. Focused primarily on B2B businesses and the service-based economy, Ian covers companies that operate within professional services, infrastructure services and other managed services, including franchised operations services. With $295 billion in assets under management as of March 31, 2025, BCI is one of the largest institutional investors in Canada.

Prior to joining BCI, Ian was a Vice President within Deloitte’s investment banking team in Vancouver and previous to Deloitte, Ian worked at the Vancouver based private equity firm, Krystal Financial Corp. (predecessor to Krystal Growth Partners).

Ian obtained a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Accounting, from the Sauder School of Business, at the University of British Columbia, and he is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Business Valuator (CBV), and a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) charter holder.

Ian currently observes on the Boards of Authority Brands and BMS Group and was historically involved in BCI’s investments in Hayfin Capital Management, Dining Brands Group, PS Logistics, and Honour Lane Shipping.
