
Irene Keskinen

Location: LondonIrene Keskinen joined BCI in 2025. She is based in London and focuses on the financial services sector covering numerous verticals including insurance services, asset and wealth management, financial technology, specialty finance, and payment solutions. With $295 billion in assets under management as of March 31, 2025, BCI is one of the largest institutional investors in Canada.
Prior to BCI, Irene spent a decade as a private equity investor focused on the financial services sector globally, with experience across large and middle market buyouts, growth, and venture-stage investments. Most recently, she was a Principal at RedBird Capital Partners, where she played a key role in establishing the firm’s financial services investing practice. Previously, Irene was a Vice President at The Carlyle Group and a Senior Associate at General Atlantic. She began her career in investment banking with Morgan Stanley in Toronto.
Irene earned her MBA from Harvard Business School and holds B.Comm. and B.A. (Economics) degrees from Queen’s University in Canada, where she graduated with First Class Honours.
