Mike Rachiele

Mike joined BCI in 2025 as a Senior Principal on the Infrastructure & Renewable Resources (I&RR) team. BCI is one of Canada’s largest institutional investors, managing $295 billion in assets as of March 31, 2025, including $32.2 billion overseen by the I&RR team.

Based in Victoria, Mike works closely with the management and governance teams of BCI’s infrastructure portfolio companies and plays a key role in the execution of transactions.

A Senior Finance executive with more than 15 years of experience in infrastructure, energy, and clean technology, Mike previously led Citigroup’s Canadian Natural Resources and Clean Energy Transition group. In that role, he drove strategic growth and deepened client engagement across energy, low-carbon fuels, and the broader energy transition. Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Calgary.

He serves as a Board Member of VierGas and as an Alternate Director on the Board of Puget Sound Energy.
