Chief Operating Officer
Shauna Lukaitis is the Chief Operating Officer at British Columbia Investment, a multi-asset class investment organization with over CAD $295 billion under management as of March 31, 2025. BCI is an institutional investor investing on behalf of British Columbia’s public sector based in Victoria, British Columbia with several office locations globally. BCI is supported by industry-leading expertise and invests in all major asset classes.
Employed with BCI for over twenty years, her expertise has been augmented by her multi-disciplinary experiences within the company including Equity Trader, Project Manager and SVP Investment Operations.
Shauna is responsible for overall management and setting the strategic direction for the operations group at BCI. This group includes Corporate Data & Operations, Corporate Risk & Audit, Finance, Technology, Investment Operations and Global Communications. Shauna oversees the interconnectivity, relationships, and operating model required to enable BCI’s global operations.
Shauna is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School and holds a Business Administration diploma from Camosun College. She has completed the Canadian Securities Course and the Chief Compliance Officer Qualifying Examination through the Canadian Securities Institute.
