Steve Turner

Location: VictoriaSteve Turner joined BCI in 2008 and is a Managing Director responsible for sourcing, executing and managing infrastructure investments. With $295 billion in assets under management as of March 31, 2025, BCI is one of Canada’s largest institutional investors in global capital markets, $32.2 billion of which is managed by the I&RR team.
Steve has over 15 years’ experience in private markets investing. Prior to joining BCI, he was an Associate with Ventures West Management, a leading Canadian venture capital firm.
Steve has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Montana Tech of the University of Montana and an MBA from the University of Victoria. Steve is also a registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in the Province of British Columbia, a CFA charterholder, and holds the ICD.D designation.
Steve is a member of the board at Nexus Water Group, which is the fifth-largest water utility in the United States. He also serves on the board of BBGI, a global concession-focused organization based in Luxembourg, as well as Cleco, a regulated electric utility in Louisiana.
